*PARENTS!!!
It is flu season and we are seeing a number of cases here. Please, if your child is having flu symptoms or you question if they are, KEEP THEM HOME. Flu symptoms include: fever, body aches, cough, runny nose, sore throat, headache, weakness, or fatigue. Please consult your physician for questions. Also, a student must be fever free for 24 hours without medication before returning to school. That also applies to vomitting and diarrhea.

*PARENTS:
Please report your child if they will not be able to attend school.  You can leave a message if you call before school or as always, you can leave the message with one of the secretaries.  Thank You!

School Delays:  if you are not notified by skylert about school delays or no school, please listen to local radio stations or any of the TV stations out of Indy.  If you need to confirm your phone number, please call the office.

Reminder: Please have your chromebooks charged before each day of school.

Attention baseball players of all grades.  Weights and conditioning for baseball will take place Monday, Tuesday. Wednesday, and Thursday from 3-4:30. 

Anyone interested in playing golf, the ladies and men's varsity golfers will be hosting a middle school golf clinic on Thursday, December 6th from 3:00 - 5:00 pm in the high school gym.  PGA professional Jim Humphrey from Chippendale Golf Course will be on site to assist you.  If you are interested, please sign up in the Athletic office, this is a FREE event.

If you have borrowed a charger or loaner chromebook please return them to the office.  We DO NOT have any to loan out

LOST AND FOUND:  We are getting many items collected, please come by and check to see if anything belongs to you.

We have a pencil and paper machine for students to purchase items for $.75

The Thanksgiving dinner at the elementary has been rescheduled to Monday November 19th at 5:30, come early and enjoy the food and Thanksgiving spirit!!

2 boxes of tissue
2 packages of 3 hole loose paper
2 packages of #2 pencils
Earbuds or earphones
Pens - 1 package of each red, blue, and black
Scientific Calcuator
1 package of colored pencils
3 ring binder for Math    6th grade RED,  7th grade  BLUE,  8th grade  GREEN
Index dividers for math binders (5 sections)

Teachers will provide a detailed list of class specific supplies for students the first day of school.

Sporting Events

21st Century Scholars

Indiana’s 21st Century Scholars Program offers income-eligible Hoosier students up to four years of paid tuition at an eligible Indiana college or university after they graduate from high school. In middle and high school, 21st Century Scholars are connected to programs and resources to help them prepare for college. Once in college, Scholars receive support to complete their college degrees and connect to career opportunities.  For more information and to apply, click here.

You can enroll as a Scholar as early as 7th grade – but no later than June 30th of your 8th grade year.
